DNA Models

Students constructed 3 dimensional paper DNA models. They learned that DNA is made up of nucleotides. Each nucleotide is comprised of a phosphate, deoxyribose sugar, and a nitrogen base, which can be cytosine (C), thymine (T), guanine (G), or adenine (A). Students then had to answer questions based on the model. Here is a slideshow of the students.

    That was really fun to make! It was kinda hard but my partner and I got through it.

    Yeah it was pretty hard to follow that weird pattern but I had a lot of fun.

    It was fun making those models… I didn’t think it was all that hard though.

    I loved this. The DNA models were fun to make…and if you notice… that’s my arm on the first picture! :)

    This was a lot of fun and the glue smells like bluberrys! Its awsome!!!!!
