    6. Short description of plot: A major biomedical company plans to open the ultimate thrill park on an island in the Pacific Ocean. Jurassic Park will showcase genetically engineered dinosaurs, made by ground breaking techniques. Several scientists must check out the park in order to give an approval for its opening. Unfortunately for them the dinosaurs are not cooperative.
    7. Short explanation of why you liked it: Many people have seen the movie, but the book is so much better. The book does a good job of scaring you as well as explaining the complex science that brought back the dinosaurs from extinction. Students who have learned about cells, DNA, and genetics will be able to understand the science.

    1. Title of book: Jurassic Park
    2. Author: Michael Crichton
    3. Number of pages: 399
    4. Reading level: 7.3
    5. Points: 20
    6. Short description of plot: A new genetics research facility has found a way to replicate DNA of Jurassic species; Dinosaurs. These many Dinosaurs have been expected to not rebel against their creators and are being looked upon as zoo animals, but when an ancient species is expected to keep quiet, plans begin forming in the Dinosaurs’ minds… Everything looks well with the “perfect” security system, but even the most advanced systems have fatal flaws…
    7. Short explanation of why you liked it: This thrilling novel is suspenseful and action-packed and is a great novel to read. This book is so intense and exciting to read, I never wanted to put it down! I recommend Jurassic Park for readers who can understand many complicated genetic and computer procedures because this book can get very confusing from time to time. Even with its slight “imperfection” this book is great and just plain AWESOME to read. I would rate it a solid 9.4 because there are several slow and irritating parts, but the book more than makes up for it in the long run. Great book. Go read it.
